Unleash Extreme Performance
ARC-1289-32I PCIe Gen 5.0 x16 base switch adapter is built to deliver the unparalleled speed for your demanding workloads. The switch adapter uses the PEX89048 PCIe 5.0 switch that provides a x16 PCIe 5.0, 32 GT/s interface to a host system with up to 32 PCIe 5.0 32GT/s ports for device connection.
High Bandwidth PCIe 5.0 Support
ARC-1289-32I supports PCIe Gen 5.0 X16, enabling extremely very high data bandwidth 512GT/s in upstream. This is critical for applications that demand significant bandwidth, such as ML/AI, HPC, and high-performance interconnection. It is designed to reduce latency, which is essential for real-time applications.
Flexible Device Connectivity
Flexible port reconfiguration (port bifurcation, port consolidation, or both) allows reconfiguration of a group of lanes to a different width. The flexible port reconfiguration only works for downstream ports reconfigured to downstream ports. With a single ARC-1289-32I base switch adapter, system integrators can take full advantage of the flexible reconfiguration each downstream station port widths: x1, x2, x4, x8, and x16 using GUI interface.
PCIE Device Status
The ARC-1289-32I base switch adapter firmware can monitor and check the current attached device status. It includes slot control capabilities, slot link status, transaction error count reports and device information. User can use it to test new designs or watch over active systems to prevent problems. An error count refers to the number of bit errors detected by the physical layer transceivers within the PCIe switch. These errors can be correctable, where the system can recover without data loss or intervention, or uncorrectable, which negatively impact the interface's function and may lead to degraded performance or system failures.
LAN Port (Without Disturb Host Access)
The adapter provides the flexibility necessary to manage the attached devices using an out-of band mechanism in a variety of host environments and systems. The ARC-1289-32I offers an on-board lan port for base switch manager. You can monitor and manage an ARC-1289-32I switch adapter using this dedicated management channel. It will also not disturb the host access when you monitor or manage the ARC-1289-32I base switch adapter.
Web Browser-Based Management
Base Switch manager is firmware-based utility, which is accessible via the web browser installed on your client system. The web browser-based base switch manager is a HTML-based application, which utilizes the browser (Safari, Edge and Mozilla etc) installed on your monitor station. It can be accessed through the out-of-band on-board Ethernet port.
User-Friendly Graphical-Based Management
Areca Single Admin Portal (ArcSAP) quick manager is an alternative graphical-based device management program specifically designed for use in managing and configuring RAID unit implemented using any of Areca switch adapters. ArcSAP quick manager can scan for multiple switch adapters in the local and remote systems and provide an effective mechanism to monitor your switch adapters.
